The Bad Plus - Fem (etude no.8)
Another one from "For All I Care", now currently one of my fav TBP tunes for the sheer genius of the arrangement (i desperately want the original score to this). If Gyorgy were still here i'm sure he'd be bopping/rocking along with the rest of us.
Kenny Garrett - Cherokee Cadenza!
I wish in a few years i could play upto at least half this standard. See if you can listen for a few 'quotations' in this audio clip, i can at least detect some Rollins and Coltrane.
Alison Moyet - That Ole' Devil Called Love
A chilled out tune we play with our swing band.
